These solid MDF panels are pre-primed with a professional quality, acid-free, smooth, titanium white acrylic gesso for enhanced clarity of colour. Perfect for all studio, classroom and plein air painting applications.
The Richeson tempered hardboard panels are manufactured from 3.2mm thick, formaldehyde-free, high-density, tempered hardboard and coated with a high quality, white acrylic gesso using a 2 coat waterfall system for the optimum, lightly toothed surface. This acid-free, archival surface will not separate from the panel but bonds perfectly. Every Richeson Premium Gessoed hardboard panel is shrink wrapped.
